So what is the “blob“ anyway? The Fluid “blob” is the
in our logo and is not just another random act by a rogue graphic artist. It has a story of its own.
Prior to starting Fluid, we found one constant in all our past years working with organizations - change happens and it is constant! This tendency has been expressed many times as being a 'fluid' environment. As defined by our friends at MerriamWebster:
1flu·id
1 a : having particles that easily move and change their relative position without a separation of the mass and that easily yield to pressure : capable of flowing b : subject to change or movement fluid
At Fluid, we accept that there will be change and we strive to offer services that support improving the situations of our clients in a postive way.
The “blob” is actually a representation of the classic 4 x 4 charts that many organizations have used for years to illustrate where they are and where they want to be.

A 4 x 4 can be used to illustrate many different measures, but the fundamental message is the same - we want to move from the bottom left quadrant to the upper right quadrant. The blob represents that movement.
